To lose weight you need not to bid farewell to your favourite food. Instead you can easily lose weight by making slight alteration in your routine recipes. Here are some recipes suggestions for weight loss:


Watermelon Refresher


Drinking fresh watermelon juice significantly helps to reduce weight. To prepare the juice first cut water melon into small pieces. Now put them to your juicer jar and grind. You can even add salt to taste.



To lose weight you can start you day with oatmeal. Boil one cup of water and add half a cup of oatmeal to it. Allow it to cook on medium flame for three to four minutes. Sprinkle a teaspoon of cinnamon and serve. Oatmeal has fibres, various minerals and phytonutrients that help keep you full for long and thus keep check on your calorie intake. Besides this, cinnamon improves body metabolism and blood circulation.


Peppermint Tea

Peppermint tea suppresses food craving and keep you away from unhealthy snacking. Being a natural diuretic, it also helps to flush-off the accumulated toxins and reduce weight.


Yellow lentil soup

Yellow mung lentil soup is low on fat, easy to digest and packed with nutrition. Take one cup of split yellow lentil (mung dal) and six cups of water. Now add a pinch of Asafoetida, half teaspoon of cumin and mustard seeds to it, add salt to taste. Cook for 20 minutes and serve hot.


Salmon Fillet


Grill a salmon fillet for five to six minutes (till it flakes easily). Flavour it with lime juice and herbs of your choice. You can serve this fish with raw or steamed broccoli or carrots.


Chicken Salad

Chicken salad is one of the ultimate fusion food and excellent treat for your taste buds. The best thing about chicken salad is that it also helps to lose weight.

Mix finely chopped napa and red cabbage with freshly grilled chicken pieces.  Add fresh coriander and toss to combine all the ingredients. Serve after seasoning with salt and black pepper.

Juice for Weight Loss

Artichoke, carrot and beet juice are traditionally believe to craving for sweet and sugary food. You can either take this juice in your breakfast or replace your unhealthy caffeinated beverages with it.  Mix juice of one artichoke, four medium size carrots and half beet. You can make alter ratio of fruits according to your preference.
